Aggie Wang

Acupuncturist

Aggie has been practicing Traditional Chinese Acupuncture since 2008. She is a member of the New Zealand Register of Acupuncture and an approved ACC treatment provider. With over 12 years of clinical practice in the field, she has become experienced in working with other health providers (e.g. chiropractic, physio) to achieve maximum quality of care and outcome for her patients.

One of Aggie’s specialties is in Abdominal Acupuncture. This new and rare method is a powerful and effective technique in treating all areas of the body. Abdominal Acupuncture involves placing needles much shallower in the abdomen therefore can create a more positive experience compared to traditional acupuncture techniques. This technique is aimed at patients who may prefer a gentler, less invasive yet very effective treatment.

Depending on the individual needs, Aggie uses a combination of treatment modalities (e.g. acupuncture, cupping) to deliver tailored care for each of her patients. Aggie is also interested in musculoskeletal injury, sinus conditions, digestive problems (bloating), emotional disorders (stress, anxiety) and women’s health.
